Trying to clean up an old PC for my sister. I have one problem that Spybot finds that I can't get rid of. It says: network essentials.smartpops, data, c:\windows\sigital signature 20020807.htm. When I try to fix it it says: some problems couldn't be fixed, the reason could be that the associated files are still in use (in memory). may spybot s&d run on your next system startup ? I let it run on next system startup and get the same thing. I have also tried safe mode without success. System seems to be running okay, I removed lots of viruses and sypware and applied all windows maintenance. I have avast, sypbot, and adaware.

Noticed I had a typo:
c:\windows\digital signature 20020807.htm

I can open it and it says:
On Tue Aug 06 23:31:14 2002 you agreed upon the following terms and conditions and installed MediaLoads Installer: http://www.downloadware.net/terms.html

I don't think I have medialoads installer anymore (at least not in add/remove programs) but I can't get rid of this and Sypbot alarms on it.

Found it, fixed it, close this one.

I was able to delete it with windows explorer. I had tried that before but it didn't work. At some point I must have cleaned up whatever was keeping me from deleting it. System runs clean now.
