This is quite serious.
I installed SpyBot (current version) on our Small Business Server 2000. After a reboot, I did a full SpyBot scan. Once finished, it had picked up some tracking cookie spyware. I let it remove them.
After a while the server went incredibly slow. Task Manager reports that the SYSTEM process is at 99%.
I uninstalled SpyBot. Rebooted. Now the server crashes every 15 mins with the Blue Screen Of Death. Message was "BAD_POOL_CALLER". I googled this and found out people disabled a hidden non-plug-&-play device driver Tpkd.sys. This seems to work, except we get a different Blue Screen Of Death. IRQ_ error.
Yes, I ran a boot-cd-memory-checker, as well as a full AVG Anti-Virus Server scan. Everything is ok from the reports.
However, there seems to be moments when the server crashes all the time, for 3 hours, then it doesn't crash for a long time. When the server is online, the SYSTEM process is 99%.
Does anyone know whether this is related to SpyBot: Search & Destroy?
