I am not sure if I am having trouble because of installing SpyBot S&D or if it is a problem thru the MSN Groups Community Websites/Forums themselves. I thought I would post here to see what you have to say. I hope someone is familiar with the MSN Groups Websites/Forums and can help.
The problem I have is in trying to "save" a webpage that I am updating at my MSN site. I can open the webpages to work on them and hit the save button, but the page goes completely white and says done. Then when I go back to the site and look at the webpage I tried to update, nothing was updated.
This problem seems to have begun after I installed SpyBot S&D. Is the installation preventing me from being able to save the webpages? If so, what do I have to do to change that?

Hi:cool:
If this what I think is the same thing happend to me a few years back. It turned out to be I was putting too much text into a particular page with in my MSN Group site and it triped somesort of pre-defined word limit which meant, that even though it said it had updated it hadn't and the only way to get the page to update was to delete a substantial amount of text from the page and create a new page just for that item.
As far As I know Spybot dosn't affect any MSN Site.
I hope this helps:rolleyes: :bigthumb:

Thanks for your reply. I thought that might have been the case since that had happened to me years ago as well. However, I tried it on another webpage at the site that did not have a whole lot of text, graphics, or links on it and that page came up white with no update, too.
I also have a query in to MSN about the problem, too. So I am hoping to hear something from them. Perhaps some of their sites are just having difficulties and they haven't corrected it yet.

I've received an answer from MSN about my problem, so it did not stem from downloading SpyBot S&D:
Thank you for writing to MSN Groups Technical Support. My name is Dana and this is regarding your concern on getting a white page when trying to save the changes you made to the pages in your Group. I apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
When this happens, it means that one of the back-end servers hosting your Group is undergoing maintenance. I have verified this from our engineers and have been told that it can take a day or two for the server to be back online. I invite you to check back often.
We have had other customers complaining of the same issue and I have already notified our MSN Groups Product Specialists; therefore, investigation is presently underway. If this still happens and it has been longer than two days, please let me know and I will escalate your concern further. Please note that other functionality such as posting messages can also be impaired during maintenance.
Sincerely,
Dana
