PC Runs Real Slow On Startup

My computer has started running slow in the past month or two when I first log in to Windows. I didn’t load any new programs prior to this starting and cant figure out why it suddenly started to slow down on startup. I rub S&D check every week automatically, along with a virus scan. I clean and defrag my disk once or twice a month as well. Not to mention, I’m almost positive no new software was loaded prior to my start-up slowing down. Here's my HijackThis log file as well.

Welcome to the forum, I can see a lot of reasons for the computer being slow, but no obvious malware. Does not mean something could be hidden, are you having any symptoms besides slow?

1)I want to know if you placed this item in your Hosts file:
O1 - Hosts: HP9929E1 HP0018FE9929E1 IF NOT do this:
Start -> Run -> Copy the following to the box and hit enter:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS
A window opens, choose Notepad from the list and hit OK.
A notepad document opens, copy the contents to here

2) You have a load of stuff that you start everytime you turn on your computer, and you can use these instructions to stop stuff you do not use everytime and can start in All Programs when you need them:

Let me know how things are running after you follow those directions. If you did not place that item in the Hosts file, post that information right away so I can make sure your Hosts file is not corrupted.
