Hi, I'm new here and also this is my first post.
I've got an idea...
Why not use 0.0.0.0 in the hosts file for the blocked addresses instead of 127.0.0.1.
Using 0.0.0.0 upon access of a blocked address it will not establish a connection, it will not even TRY to establish one. As when you use 127.0.0.1 it actually tries to contact 127.0.0.1 and request the file.
Just a thought. Using 0.0.0.0 It makes more sense since it does it faster and more professional.
Hail from Bulgaria and keep up the good work.
