View Full Version : systemdoctor.com - I am infected?

A couple of days ago, something weird happened. My browser suddenly got redirected to systemdoctor.com. I read up on it on google, and found out that it was malware.

Now, I don't know how the redirect happened or if I am infected or not. My computer seems a bit more sluggish now and I have also had some experiences with winlogon.exe crashing on startup and the machine rebooting.

I normally never have virus or other malware on my machine. I am a software developer and I think I know how to use a computer :) But in this case, I am pretty sure I have gotten infected by something.

Can you guys please take a look? Here is the log from HiJackThis that you people seem to want:

Anyone?

I saw a link a week ago to a page that could scan a local file using 20 different actual anti-virus programs. I forgot the link.

Does anyone know it?

Hello.

Please read the sticky topics, they are there to prepare members to receive assistance. :p:

Your log shows:
Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.0 (BETA)

"BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

At the present time, do not run Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.0 (BETA) to produce a log for this forum, unless specifically requested, or you have a Vista Operating System.

You might want to read that sticky. ;)

Another pinned topic: If you have waited four days for advice post here. (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=4836#post4836)

Cheers. :)

I don't understand why the topics were merged. The subjects are completely unrelated?

I am just looking for the link to the page where I can get a file virus scanned by several anti-virus programs.

It has nothing to do with the other problem and nothing to do with hijackthis (or with waiting 4 days) :)

Regards,
David
