Welcome to the forum, let me say first that you have more than a few bad apples, more like a bushel of them, the computer is about as infected as I have seen recently and I am not sure if we can clean it but willing to try if you wish. First, you need to know you have several backdoor type trojans:
http://www.sophos.com/security/analyses/trojcosiamk.html
http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/trojdloadrmc.html
http://www.greatis.com/appdata/d/_/_sysdir__test.exe.htm
http://www.castlecops.com/s12909-irssyncd.html
http://www.pandasoftware.com/virus_info/encyclopedia/overview.aspx?lst=det&idvirus=38930
That is not all, you may also have a Qoologic trojan and there are several other items I can not identify. My first suggestion would be to cut your losses, retrieve the information you need and reformat this computer. I need to give you this information now:
A Backdoor is a software program that gives an attacker unauthorized access to a machine and the means for remotely controlling the machine without the user's knowledge. A Backdoor compromises system integrity by making changes to the system that allow it to by used by the attacker for malicious purposes unknown to the user.

One or more of the identified infections is a backdoor trojan.
This allows hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and Download and Execute files
I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.
Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. Please read these for more information:

How Do I Handle Possible Identify Theft, Internet Fraud and CC Fraud?

When Should I Format, How Should I Reinstall
http://www.dslreports.com/faq/10063

Please let us know what you have decided to do in your next post.

I see by your post count you have been here before, if you wish to proceed you need to review this information since I see no required online antivirus scan, it appears you missed it:

This is distrubing information....I've got all kinds of info. including my last couple of tax returns on there. I'm thinking hard about just cleaning the slate and starting over. The thought of copying files from the PC concerns me as well. How do I know that they're clean?

I did an online scan and I thought the last three or so lines were the results of that. I'll do another just to be sure. I'm still up in the air about which way to proceed....it may just go to the grave yard, but I really need the records.

It's been out of service for over 4 months...is it an easy task to reload the OS and start over?

Thanks!

Good morning, I usually post the items from the log so a member can research them if they wish, but there were so many I did not. I will be glad to post the line items for you if you wish, and I will say again that there is no doubt, you are badly infected. In fact, I would NOT take this computer online, the junk can and will download more and allow the hackers access to the computer and information. The junk your online scan showed is stuff running from Temp, if you want to scan it to see what it is, have a go at it with these tools:
In fact, here are the items I see in the HJT log that I could identify, there are more:
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,yslmymr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ntdll.dll] C:\WINDOWS\system32\xnneoh.exe reg_run G
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wfb82f37] RUNDLL32.EXE w00a198d.dll,n 00582f320000000a00a198d
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [stonedrv] c:\windows\system32\stonedrv.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [XPAgent] C:\WINDOWS\system32\XPAgent.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [test] C:\WINDOWS\system32\test.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [irssyncd] C:\WINDOWS\system32\irssyncd.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [stonedrv] c:\windows\system32\stonedrv.exe
O16 - DPF: {85D1F3B2-2A21-11D7-97B9-0010DC2A6243} (SecureLogin class) - http://secure2.comned.com/signuptemp...ogin-devel.cab
O23 - Service: mfc40.exe - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mfc40.exe (file missing)
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mfc40.exe&btnG=Google+Search

(identification tools)
http://virusscan.jotti.org/
http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html

Having never been in this exact position, I might suggest you move the information you need to a floppy (if not much) or a CD and then have your antivirus software scan the file before considering transferring it to another computer. There are of course other storage methods, but you would want to be sure the files are not infected.

Keep in mind that reinstalling the Operating System will not take care of this problem, only a complete reformat will do that:

Thanks...Phil

I'll attach it to my network and copy the files over to another machine then I'll reformat and start anew. It's a Sony so I've got to locate the recovery CD's but the task will result in a machine I can use from time to time. I'm still nervous about having used it to file my 1040.

Thanks for your help! As always you provide solid and timely advice.
