Hey, first of all any help on this matter would be greatly apprieciated....
A few months ago my computer started running sluggishly, next i wasn't able to open windows media player followed by certain web pages not loading fully, then certain pages using javascript couldn't be accessed followed by messages saying my activeX wasn't on (i checked the enable promts was selected in internet security options) and now my computer is a whole new world of slow, in performance CPU usage is frequently on 100%, and a process called iexplore.exe loads up with every reboot even tho an internet exporer page isn't open, i have 6 svchost.exe running taking up the majority of the memory....as i can't run active scripting on websites or for some other reason i have been unable to run an online scan, here are the results for the HJT scan.....
i've read through many other forums on similar posts and tried most solutions but to no avail, all virus checks were up to date, but something keeps re spawning!!!

Hello scott_pearce84 and welcome to the Forums :)
One or more of the identified infections steal information. If this system is used for online banking or has credit card information on it, all passwords should be changed immediately by using a different computer (not the infected one!) to make the changes. Banking and credit card institutions, if any, should be notified of the possible security breech. I suggest that you read this (http://www.dslreports.com/faq/10451) article too.
Download SDFix (http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.zip) and save it to your desktop.
Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
Choose your usual account.
In Safe Mode, right click the SDFix.zip folder and choose Extract All,
Open the extracted folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the script.
It will remove the Trojan Services then make some repairs to the registry and prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
Your system will take longer that normal to restart as the fixtool will be running and removing files.
When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the removal and display Finished, then press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Finally open the SDFix folder on your desktop and copy and paste the contents of the results file Report.txt back onto the forum with a new HijackThis log

Hello :)
I need to have a look on some files...
Please download the Suspicious file Packer (http://www.safer-networking.org/files/sfp.zip) from Safer-Networking.Org and unzip it to your desktop.
Run SFP.exe.
Please copy the following lines into the Step 1: Paste Text window:
C:\WINDOWS\ua2.dll
C:\WINDOWS\SlantAdj.dll
C:\WINDOWS\ADE.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\Ade001.bin
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mswsock.dll
then click "Continue".
This will create a .cab file on your desktop named requested-files[Date/Time].cab
Please go to this forum (http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=1.0)
There's no need to register. Just start a new topic, titled "Files for Mr_Jak3".
Add the link of this topic to the message.
Use the Attachment box to upload the cab file from your desktop.
NOTE: You will not see the files that have been uploaded (including the ones you upload yourself) as they only show to the authorised users who can download them
I'll have a look and then we'll continue :bigthumb:

performance wise it's shown some improvement, however i still have the issues regarding active scripts, media player won't load, an for instance when i go onto youtube i get this message
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
and on myspace i get ......
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player.
certain pages won't load as you may have noticed for online scans, usually when javascript is envolved....i've checked the script settings in internet options and they seem to be in order, so any pointers here would be handy!!!
Cheers
Ok let's do some more research...
Make a new folder in the C:\drive called silentrunners
Download 'silent runners" from here: (direct download)
http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.vbs
Save it to your silentrunners folder.
Click start> run> type cmd and hit enter
Type the following exactly and hit enter after each line.
cd c:\silentrunners and hit enter
"silent runners.vbs" -all and hit enter
Wait until it pops up saying its completed, then post the resulting logfile here
It will be very large. You may need several posts to include everything

i followed the command exactly, then an "open file- Security warning" box appears asking if i wish to open file, then gives two choices open or cancel....so i click open....and i get an error message saying....cant find script engine "VBScript" for script "C:\silentrunners\Silent Runners.vbs" so no scan results just yet....any ideas??
Ok let's see this instead:
Generate a HijackThis Startup list:
Open HijackThis: Click on "Open the Misc Tools Section"
Check the following boxes to the right of "Generate StartupList Log": List also minor sections (Full)
List empty sections (Complete)
Click "Generate StartupListLog"
Click "Yes" at the prompt.
A Notepad window will open with the contents of the HijackThis Startup list displayed
Copy & Paste that log to here

Hello and sorry for the delay :)
Ok I wanted to check something and it was ok...
Now to the Media Player and Macromedia's Flash Player issues.
What is the version of your Media Player?
Also please install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. You can install it via Adobe's homepage (http://www.adobe.com)

i have media player 11 i believe, and as for the adobe flash player download centre, i get to the download page but.......nothing happens, it says click the install now button but there is no install now button showing...is there any other link i could try??
Are you using Internet Explorer?
For the media player, a uninstallation & reinstall could help :bigthumb:

i've downloaded and run the activeX program, still no signs of improvement, and as for media player, a uninstall and reinstall resulted in an error message on start up saying "an internal application error has occured" and then it wont load up.....
Hello :)
Do these problems occur in other user accounts too?
You could create a new account and see if things work in the new account.

i only have the one account on this computer, so i went to create a new account control panel, user accounts.....surprise surprise it doesnt load up, i get the tool bar at the top saying back, forward and home, then a blank window.....any ways around this?
Hmm the whole account doesn't load?

nope, just a blank window!i also tried in safe mode, but same thing happens....
Ok that doesn't sound too good.
Does the older account work?
If not, try this --> instructions (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307852)
