I am running on the XP SP2 and have a malware infection, I don't know if this will cause problems. If someone could give me an idea on the next steps that would be fantastic. I would really appreciate the help.

Welcome to the forum, we have a few problems here and you are infected, I just don't know how bad. First, since I see no required online antivirus scan, I must assume you missed these instructions:
"BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at own risk.

1) You are running two antivirus programs at the same time and this is not a good thing. They conflict with each other and you will be less safe than if you ran one good program and maintained it properly.
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nav.nsf/docid/2000031316555206
"Microsoft recommends that you have only one anti-virus program installed on your computer."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/12/03/AR2005120300087.html
http://www.smartcomputing.com/editorial/article.asp?article=articles/2003/s1407/38s07/38s07.asp

C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\
c:\PROGRA~1\mcafee.com\vso\

2) Please read this: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\ <<< out of date, download the newest version and uninstall all old versions in Add Remove Programs.

3) http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php <<< download Smitfraudfix from here and since you are infected I will post all instructions at once, but I would like to see both reports from the fix.

Search:
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/processutil/processutil.htm

Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.
Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

Restart the computer and post the C:\rapport.txt from both the Search and the Clean functions, and a new HJT log, let me know how the computer is running now.

Thanks

The problem bar has now disappeared which is a big relief, I don't know if there is any other viruses in there, the HJT log will make morse sense to you. But the overall system seems to be performing better atm.

Thanks for returning the information, S!ri (Frenchman) works really hard to keep the fix updated as fast as the hackers change their junk. Your log looks a lot better. I have a nice free cleaning tool you can use or you can use cleanmgr, your option.

Check these areas to be positive:
C:\Documents and Settings\Nathan Parker\My Documents\Nathan Stuff from prev comp\bikini.exe <<< delete that fileI would consider cleaning the folder in red also, may be infected. If not, scan the files with you AV.

C:\RECYCLER\ <<< make sure the recycle bin is empty

C:\System Volume Information\_restore <<< we will get this near the end.

run cleanmgr

or

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
(just a dead line)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
