I've tried today going on:
.gamefaqs.com (Just got it working)
.ign.com (and any sub-site if IGN (PS2, 360, TV, etc.))
.projectmanhunt.com
.gtaforums.com
.gamespot.com
Well, it seems to be most of the sites I frequent. I know they work because they've worked on other computers I've tried today but every time I go on from my home computer, it redirects me to a porn site. And I know these are secure sites.
I've tried resetting my IP and deleting my cookies so far and nothing has changed?
What's up with this? This is only thing wrong with my computer. I'm doubting it's a virus but what do you guys think?
I tried Ad-aware. I managed to delete 218 files. Most were IE Cache files and few registry files. Ad-aware was updated when I did the scan. But it didn't seem to have an effect on my computer good or bad. Norton won't help me because my subscription is done and my definitions outdated but it won't upgrade. I don't have the money for that right now. For some reason, when I try to do the Trend Micro Housecall it crashes in Firefox in the middle of the scan. I can't use IE to do it because I seem to have some kind of virus that makes it so when I start IE, it starts minimized on the taskbar, then when I try to open the window, the icon flies off screen and won't open. Even Right-click, Open doesn't work
I don't know what's going on. I mean EVERYTHING on my computer runs fine. It's just nagging cause I know there's viruses there. Everything works and wouldn't even know I had viruses or anything until you try to a) Go on websites that I know work because I've checked them on other computers thinking it was a server problem. It's not. b) Try to use IE and anything related to it (Messenger, etc. all do the same thing).
Any more advice on this? Sorry for posting this here but I never knew about the technical support board until today (yes, I don't remind how long I've been here) when someone just posted it. Please help me out. This is very annoying... Someone on GameFAQs.com referred me here, and I just downloaded and installed Spybot S&D 1.4 and got every single update. I didn't run a scan yet because I wanted to tell you guys my trouble so at least when I do a scan I know what I'm looking for.

Trend Micro Housecall crashes in Firefox in mid-scan and eTrust won't work because of the previously mentioned problems with IE. I had tried Spybot S&D 1.4 fully updated and cleaned everything before finding this site and hijackthis. Because the previously mentioned online scanners didn't work I went ahead did a full system scan with hijackthis.

Can you guys help me?
Are there any other virus scanners you guys would recommend? Neither eTrust or Trend Micro Housecall work. And I can't use IE to do it.

As I said before, I really need to find a good virus scanner that works with Firefox. Housecall crashes, I can't use IE for Kaspersky (I even tried running it through IE tabs on Firefox; it just made Firefox crash). So I really need a good one because I know that's what you guys need.
