Battling a Trojan Army

Greetings,


I have a little problem. Around 1 1/2 months ago my computer started going slower and it began to have problems with I.E. and other web browsers. Startup time is taking 6 times longer, and programs in general are taking longer to load and are having frequent errors.


In the past I have used Norton Internet Security 2007, which is consistently updated, to Fix everything that poped up. However, Norton did not catch the files that 3 online scanners did. CA Anti-Virus, Kaspersky, and Trend Micro. They all came back saying that my computer is being invaded by an Army of Trojans.

Would anyone have the time to help me defeat them and get things back on track?

I ran a search on it and found the application extention here:

Then I went to the 3 links you gave me and tried to submit:

but they could not locate, so I could not get any info on it. I also ran a search on it and it could not be found on my computer at all.

A new window will open asking you to select the file that you would like to delete on reboot. Navigate to the file: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\svchsmr.dll and click on it once, and then click on the Open button.
You will now be asked if you would like to reboot your computer to delete the file. Click on the Yes button if you would like to reboot now.

Once you have competed those two tasks, then follow the instruction in this link to download, install, update and run AVG Anti-Spyware. Make sure you delete or at least quarantine anything it finds and post the scan report.

Hello,
Since your last post I followed the steps you listed.
In order:
I went to the Symantec link you provided and followed all of the steps that I could. The registry editor was unable to locate the subkey "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WinSock2\Buibert"
I navigated to where it was supposed to be and it was not there.
I was able to remove: "rsvp32_2.dll"
I unchecked the: "Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option", and I had already selected "Show hidden files and folders" a while back so I didn't need to do that.
The file "svchsmr.dll" can not be found on my computer. I used the computer's Search function and it stated that "Search is complete. There are no results to display."
I even put it in the address bar of Windows Explorer and a message popped up "Cannot find 'file:///C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchsmr.dll'. Make sure the path or Internet address is correct."

((The only reason I did the following actions was that I have no knowledge of what is safe to remove and what may harm the system if removed.))

First, let's clean the Java cache, read and follow the directions carefully:

The only problem I see in the HJT log is this:
O10 - Broken Internet access because of LSP provider 'rsvp32_2.dll' missing
Did you use this tool:

This is the item that needs to be removed: rsvp32_2.dll
LSP-Fix was designed to fix problems such as these. With LSP-Fix you can remove LSPs that are malicious in nature or do not belong, and have them removed in such a way that the chain of LSPs are not broken and your network connectivity will continue to work properly. This software will also fix breaks in the chain that may have already occurred due to deletions of certain files or buggy installation routines

Do you know what these two are?
