View Full Version : Trouble loading some websites.

This past weekend, I've noticed that I've been having immense difficulty loading some websites. My primary email acct is on Yahoo, and for the life of me, I couldn't figure why the page would stay on Loading... (firefox) and never completely show me a login screen let alone my inbox.
Funny thing is I'm on a home network with my apartmentmates and they can log in to a plethora of websites I've written down, Yahoo, ebay, break, gmail, facebook for instance, so it's just my computer. I'm currently using winxp on my primary boot, but i've installed vista on a secondary hard drive and its firefox has absolutely NO difficulty accessing any websites either. I've read around and assume it's due to some malware issues. I've downloaded Hijackthis and would appreciate any help or assistance anyone can offer, i've never come across an issue like this or have used hjt. i could use vista primarily, but some circumstances are preventing me.
Thanks

Ok, sorry about my overlooking the FAQs.
I used the Online virus scanner and came up with no viruses found. I've always had and updated Spybot regularly. Nothing found.
My HJT log is as follows:

Welcome to Safer Networking, if you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, it appears you have missed some important instructions our administrator has posted at the top of the forum, especially this: "BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please read and follow all instructions and post all required logs or reports, anything less will slow your process.
Use "Post Reply" to post the information in the instructions and stay in the same topic.
OK, let's face facts here, our administrator posted those links for you to read and follow the directions. If you did that you would not have posted a formatted log that I can not work with and you would not be bumping your posts. You would have posted here:
If you have waited FOUR days for advice post here.
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=1137
Very likely after this much time that your issue is resolved. If it is not, then read the directions and follow them. Give me a HJT log that is not formatted and I will see if I can help you.
Thanks
