Windows Media Player Problem

For some weird reason i can't use Windows Media Player on webpages, it tells me it's locating the media, and then it's says ready, but when i press play it remains blank and begins to locate media again, and repeats the same process over again!!! And ive left it like that for atleast 20 mins whilst it says ready just in case it's still "buffering" but it remains blank!!! :sad: :sad: :sad:
And even weirder, i can go to youtube and it's player works, and any other player apart from Windows Media Player!!!!

Can someone explain to me what the problem is please?
Btw for reference i use Windows Media Player 11 (the new one)

Not sure, to narrow it down, which browser are you using when this happens, any one in particular?

See if any information there may pertinent to your problem.

I only have 1 browser on this computer, IE7, i upgraded my version of IE to IE7 when it came out....
I find having others to be too much work and complication, i.e. using one browser, and making sure the other one is locked so it doesn't get used for a backdoor hack attempts....:red:
