Was getting a Generic 32 error, reinstalled windows, cant install updates

At first I was getting the Generic 32 error, I reinstalled windows and that doesnt happen anymore, but I still cannot download any updates thru automatic updater or the microsoft website.

Welcome to the forum and I apologize for the wait. Let me point out that Pinned to the top of the forum is a link to prevent that from happening:

If your issue is not resolved, the only thing I see in your HJT log is and out of date Java program, see this information:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_11\ <<< out of date, I suggest you download the newest version and uninstall all old versions in Add Remove programs.

Since your other issue does not appear to be malware related, I suggest you take that up with Microsoft here: http://support.microsoft.com/ They will be much more qualified to help with those issues.
