I have been using this site for some time and can generally deal with most problems I come accros with the usual combo of stuff but I am at my wits end right now. Any help would be great. I'm getting pop-ups, lock outs from desktop, fake alerts and the crazy "windows is shutting down in 60 seconds" box in the middle of my screen.

I have current AVG, Spy-Bot, Ad-Aware and also di an online scan for viruses. I currently am unable to get AVG to open but have a current Hijack log and the info from the online virus scan.

I'm not sure if this is displaying correctly, I did uncheck Word Wrap.

Welcome to Safer Networking, if you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, it appears you have missed some important instructions our administrator has posted at the top of the forum, especially this: "BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please read and follow all instructions and post all required logs or reports, anything less will slow your process.
Use "Post Reply" to post the information in the instructions and stay in the same topic.

Yeah...you have a mess include this junk: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SManager] smanager.7.exe

and this: C:\WINDOWS\retadpu1000272.exe <<< which is probably the installer and you have a Vundo infecion which is hard to remove.
If you want to try to clean this up, you need to keep the computer offline when not troubleshooting, the junk will download and install more. You also need to read the links I posted so you know what you are up against. If we are to proceed, do so like this:

1) read this: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
D:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_11\ <<< Java is out of date, download the newest version and uninstall all old versions in add remove programs.

2) Move HJT from the Desktop for safety. I prefer C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe, if you need additional instructions use these: http://russelltexas.com/malware/createhjtfolder.htm
Once you get it moved, then rename HJT.exe, call it Annoyedwithpopups.exe or whatever you wish.

3) Restart the computer and do this:
Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

4) Thanks to sUBs and anyone else who helped with this fix.

(follow these and all directions carefully)

Download ComboFix from Here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) or Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop.

Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

[B]Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it

5) Before you post the log, look for this item: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [runner1] C:\WINDOWS\retadpu1000272.exe if it is there and has that long number with it, you may edit out [COLOR="red"]JUST THE LONG NUMBER.
