hi brave_orakio

first disable tea timer so it will allow the changes:

1. Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer.
-------------------------------
scan with HJT, put a checkmark beside the items below, close all windows and click fix checked.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [doom 3d] doom3d.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [doom 3d] doom3d.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [internat.exe] internat.exe

download, install update and run:

superantispyware:

also run your updated antivirus, AVG.

rescan and post a new hjt log.

I`m not sure if the internat.exe is the legit one, I have the japanese keyboard on by default. I disabled it, fixed it in HJT, then enabled the japanese keyboard again, then internat.exe reappered. Does the doom3d thing have any security compromises? Is it still ok to transact using this computer or should clean reinstall if I want to do that?

hi brave_orakio,

if the internat.exe is the legit one

we can find out. you can go to one of these two websites, browse for the file on your computer then upload it to one of these:

jotti's:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/

virustotal:
http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html
----------------------------------
i recommend a second malware scanner to go along with spybot:

Avg antispyware
lavasoft's ad aware
superantispyware

Hello, yes thank you! It seems to be the legit file! doom3d is gone now! Although in my other post(the one that I thought disappeared) the guy that replied recommended to check other files. I will look into that, but thanks alot for your help!
