It is scanning and all of a sudden it comes up and says "Error During Check" Zwax (Ungultiger Datentyp fur) It stops scanning. There is no choice to remove this and the little arrows on the right side have no information.

I looked through SpyBlaster's detection and it has Zwax listed as a trojan. I also went to an on-line trojan scan, but it didn't detect anything. I have also ran Ad-Aware SE Pus and it didn't find anything.

Bonnie:

In addition to the information requested by tashi, what Windows OS are you running?

I am using version 1.3 last update 2005-12-30. I have Windows XP.

Also I have another question, I hope it is alright to ask it here. I just got back from my daughters house, she has ver 1.4 with the latest update. She runs Windows 98 SE. I ran Spybot where it checks the registry and it came up with some registry keys to be deleted from McAfee's program, which she uninstalled and now uses Norton Security. I checked to delete them and then another box comes up saying registry change is detected. It wass on these items. But I couldn't find anyplace to say it was O K. There was a blank rectangular box when I clicked on it, it put a checkmark for "Remember my decision" if I clicked it again, it removed the checkmark. There was no place to click for yes or no. So I clicked on the x to close it and then down by the task bar a message pops up and says something like "client declines" . How do you tell it that that change was o k?

There is currently a bug in TeaTimer 1.4. Portions of TeaTimer's pup-up dialog overlay the "Allow change" and "Deny change" buttons. On my system the very top edges of the "Allow change" and "Deny change" buttons are showing and I am still able to select the options. I also can check "Remember this decision" since it is visible. If no portion of the "Allow change" and "Deny change" buttons are showing, you can answer TeaTimer's popup dialog (English language version) by pressing "A" on your keyboard for "Allow change" or "D" for "Deny change". If you close the dialog without answering "Allow change" or "Deny change" the registry change is denied.

If you can't deal with the problem that way until it is fixed, you can:
Apply one of the workarounds found in the following pinned (Sticky) thread that fixes the pop-up dialog so the buttons are visible:
Solution to fix the pop-ups in TeaTimer

Disable TeaTimer as follows:
Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident.
Uncheck the following:Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.
