Hi,
2 nights ago I stupidly downloaded and executed a very dodgy file. This proceeded to install lots of spyware, virus' etc on my computer. I am pretty sure I have gotten rid of most of the rubbish, but would love for someone to check out my hijackthis log just to be sure. I have run AVG antispyware, Spybot, Adaware, Super Anti Spyware all say I am now clean. I have also used the Panda Online scanner and the CA online scanner, as well as my own copy of CA Antivirus 2007. All say I am clean, but I just don't get that warm safe feeling on the inside yet. The virus' I had and think I have deleted were smitfraud and a vundo virus. The reason I am asking is that after I run one spyware, or virus thing, it says I'm clean, then another says I have something, then another says I am clean. For example my own copy of CA says I am clean as does their online scanner, but the Panda Activescan online scanner said it found and cleaned 4 virus' all of which were in the folder of the Smitfraud virus fix program.
