Help! Infected with adware and trojan

Ok ill post hiJackThis file later because im about to sleep but im on my laptop and it has symantec antivirus and security protection w/e and it whenever i open up something like AVG anti-spyware (just an example) the darn adware starts and symantec detects it and deletes it or partially deletes it well if it deleted it well how come it keeps coming?!?!?!?! Ok the second thing is whenever i run avg anti spyware full system scan (well most of the times i ran it) i get trojan.small so those are the two things i keep getting ill post the HiJackThis log tommorow after school.

Edit: One last edit before i go the adware was adware.purityscan dumb s*** doesnt seem to get off my system.

I did a full system scann with AVG and symantec and i get adware.purity scan from both AVG and Symantec in addtion AVG find trojan.small(tried to quarintine but doesnt seem to stay) so i need help please, and adware.purity scan also keeps coming back even after delete
