I not sure if I have a problem, maybe someone could comment on this HijackThis log file (1st time to this forum - hope I have presented the right info)
Uninstalled Norton, (now have AVG) but ccapp is still present, and even though I uncheck it out in startup in spybot it keeps returning on reboot.
Any other issues from the log?

Welcome to Safer Networking, if you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, it appears you have missed some important instructions our administrator has posted at the top of the forum, especially this: "BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please read and follow all instructions and post all required logs or reports, anything less will slow your process.
Use "Post Reply" to post the information in the instructions and stay in the same topic.

That information and the rest of the pinned information at the top of the forum is the first thing you should read. HJT gives us a first picture of your system but more and more hackers are learning this and doing all they can to hide their junk from HJT. I can comment on what I see in the HJT log as follows:

1) C:\DOCUME~1\ian\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 1 for startuplist.zip\StartupList.exe
Don't know what you are doing there, unless you need that startup list, I would delete it and whatever else is in that TEMP folder.

2) C:\Downloads\HiJackThis_v2.exe <<< HJT needs it's own folder to store backups, logs and the executable. If you intend to store anything else in that C:\Downloads\ folder I suggest you make a new one for HJT like this: C:\HJT\HiJackThis_v2.exe

3) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {BDF3E430-B101-42AD-A544-FADC6B084872} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - (no file)
dead lines that you can remove with HJT if you wish.

4) O15 - Trusted Zone: http://portal.f9.net.uk
O15 - Trusted Zone: www.t-mobile.co.uk
O15 - Trusted Zone: www.tin.it
Assuming you know these items well enough to allow these Trusted Zone access.

5)
but ccapp is still present, and even though I uncheck it out in startup in spybot it keeps returning on reboot.
I may be tired, but I do not see this in the HJT log?
http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/ccapp/
It is indeed a componant of Symantec? It could be something left from a poor removal of the old program, do you see it anywhere else.

Symantec offers this free tool if you wish to take a look:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039?Open&src=&docid=2001092114452606&nsf=nav.nsf&view=docid&dtype=&prod=&ver=&osv=&osv_lvl=
WARNING: If you'll use the tool above, you will also lose Norton Ghost.

Thanks

Thanks for returning your log and the feedback about the scans, this is for your information:
http://www.castlecops.com/clsid-927.html
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/grayware/ve_graywareDetails.asp?GNAME=ADW%5FFLASHGET%2EA

I assume those 015 Trusted Zone items are there because you wish them to be. We can do a little cleaning.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {BDF3E430-B101-42AD-A544-FADC6B084872} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - (no file)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

run cleanmgr
http://spyware-free.us/tutorials/cleanmgr/

If you have not cleaned your System Restore files recently, it might be a good idea:
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
