It's like my computer freezes for a split second then resumes normally. I don't know what's happening. It's very evident whenever I play something in winamp. The song stops briefly and then goes on like I paused/unpaused it; it's very annoying.

Here's the hijackthis log:

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information. "BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

If you have waited FOUR days for advice post here.

Looks like you missed the information posted to the top of the forum. This HJT log looks clean so there is a good chance this is not a malware issue.

If you wish to look for anything hidden, start by doing this.

1) Follow the directions in this link to run AVG Anti-Spyware, make sure you delete or quarantine anything it finds and save the scan report to post.
http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=3165

2) Run a free diagnostic here: http://www.pcpitstop.com/
Help with results: http://pcpitstop.invisionzone.com/index.php?showforum=6
Tutorial: http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress/howto1.asp
Post a link to the test results, I may spot something.

3) Provide more information, any error messages? Perhaps Winamp is the problem, do you have another Media Pleayer you can try?

Thanks
