Well, I ran Spybot earlier after some bogus searchbar decided to install itself and a bunch of malware showed up such as Mirar, Purity Scan, etc. Along with those came Smitfraud-C. Toolbar 888 which couldn't be fixed. Any help getting my PC back to normal will be much appreciated.
Here is my Hijack This log.....

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.
You have a pretty good mess here, including a Vundo infection. Here is some information for your benefit:
Since there is a class action involving this one, you may want to view this information:

I see no antivirus program running in the HJT log? I see one item from Symantec running in services but nothing in the log? Please let me know what is happening here, it is cyber-suicide going online without an active anti-virus program.
For your information: C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exe

C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\ <<< VERY out of date, download the newest version and uninstall all old versions in AddRemove Programs. This is like why you are infected.
I will post a lot of instructions at once. I am in no way asking you to hurry, in fact I suggest you take your time, read and follow the directions carefully. Folks who do have few problems with the removal.
1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.
2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.
Thanks to Atribune and any others who helped with this fix.
Please understand these hackers can call there junk anything they wish. Vundofix may not know the files at first, but it will learn. You want to run the fix until you see all Vundo files say: "Has been deleted"
3) Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4) to your desktop
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThislogin a reply to this thread.Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.
If there is a file VundoFix doesn't find we need it submitted. Please submit
the files to upload malware http://www.uploadmalware.com
(hold that report and log until you finish)
4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:
(some items may be missing, removed by Vundofix, do not be concerned)

Welp, I followed your directions entirely and in order and it seems everything went well. It really wasn't as hard as I expected. I updated Java and removed the old version. As far as Viewpoint goes, I don't even know what purpose it serves. I have tried to get rid of it numerous times in the past and it always seems to just pop up again. I'm sure I could go without it.
By the way, I really appreciate the help you are giving me. You are very knowledgeable and I've learned alot from this post. I NEED to install an anti-virus program ASAP. I'm not really sure which one tho. Do you have any suggestions? I was using Vcom System Suite for the longest, but then it started malfunctioning so I uninstalled it and haven't installed anything else.
Anyways, here is my VundoFix log and the new HijackThis log.....

Thanks for returning you inmformation and the feedback.
1) Uninstall all instances of Viewpoint in Add Remove Programs.
2) Please uninstall any instance of Norton/Symantec in Add Remove programs.
3) Here are three free antivirus programs to choose from:
http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
http://www.free-av.com/
I suggest AVG Free from Grisoft and be sure to stay with "free", avoid trials, etc.
4) When you get an antivirus program installed & updated, then do a complete system scan and let me know the results.
5) Restart the computer and do this:
Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
Post information about the results of the scan, the uninstall list and a new HJT log. Include any comments you think will help.
Thanks...Phil

Ok, I installed AntiVir sucessfully. The scan didn't return anything. But about an hour later the AntiVir Guard started detecting a bunch of files(about 10) in real-time alerts which I deleted when asked. My computer has been running well but I still think there is something on it. Here is my uninstall list and a new Hijackthis log. There is a few fishy lookin entries on the Hijackthis list I noticed.
Uninstall list...

Uninstall list: I look for security issues and malware programs. It's a good chance for you to see programs you no longer use.
Outerinfo <<< nasty adware program from PurityScan/OIN, uninstall that.
Here is an uninstall if it goes you a hard time:

O23 - Service: Symantec Network Drivers Service (SNDSrvc) - Symantec Corporation - c:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\SNDSrvc.exe
You are still running Symantec in services, turn that item off like this:
Unless this is a service from Symantec I am not aware of. I do not run Symantec/Noton so my knowledge is limited
Disable the Service
Click Start > Run and type services.msc
Scroll down to Symantec Network Drivers Service and right click on it.
Click Properties and under Service Status click Stop, then under Startup Type change it to Disabled.
The HJT log is clean of malware, I would need more information about what AntiVir is locating. If it is stopping stuff, that is what it is supposed to do.
Let's have another look from this scan:
Follow the directions in this link to run AVG Anti-Spyware, make sure you delete or quarantine anything it finds and save the scan report to post.
http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=3165
Reboot and post the scan results and add any comments you think will help.
Thanks...Phil
