I ran spybot today, and I found a few items that I could not fix:

Smitfraud-C.CoreService: Settings (Registry key, fixing failed)

Smitfraud-C.CoreService: Data (File, fixing failed)
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\core.cache.dsk

Smitfraud-C.CoreService: System file (File, fixing failed)

DoubleClick: Tracking cookie (Internet Explorer: Rahul) (Cookie, fixed)

any other programs besides spybot or hijackthis that I can use to eliminate this trojan, never had this happen to me, and its very frustrating. Any ideas?

Hi fiestycolumbian

1. Download combofix from one of these links:
Link1 (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
Link2 (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Post:

- a fresh HijackThis log
- combofix report
