my firefox wont let me connect sayin:

The proxy server is refusing connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

* Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.

* Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is
working.

wen im not using a proxy. also im using a wireless net, n my internet explorer works now but before it wouldn't load pages either.

Tell you what, this is a malware forum and your questions are not concerning malware. I suggest you contact your Internet Service Provider, they would be the one who would know how to configure your computer to access the internet. You can also give this forum a try, but I firmly believe you need the assistance of your ISP and technical support.
