View Full Version : Windows Explorer/IE6 are opening VERY SLOWLY, here is my hijack this log

hi everyone. basically, i get on the computer (emulated WinXP) and everything works fine and fast like should... except when i open anything that requires Windows Explorer (folders, etc.) and then i opened IE6 (i dont use it, but i was just wondering if it wouldopen fast or slow) and IE6 also took FOREVER to load. everything else loads really quickly like it should.

let me give some more background info. this is a virtual emulated PC via VMWare.... but i use it for important stuff sometimes.... and some things that i wouldnt want to try on my regular OS. its my protection i guess. before this problem, everything and including Windows Explorer and IE6 ran fine (and quick). now when i click on a folder, Explorer asks to go on the internet (i click no, it has no reason to). i have Zonealarm firewall. anyway, i ran i hijackthis log and here are the results:
