My Spybot located these two items and it can't seem to get rid of it. please help.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information. "BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Looks like you already run tools, please tell me what you have done so far.

Read and follow these directions:

1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

3) We need to disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
Open Windows Defender, Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

4) How to use the Delete on Reboot tool

Start Hijackthis
Click on the Config button
Click on the Misc Tools button
Click on the button labeled Delete a file on reboot...
A new window will open asking you to select the file that you would like to delete on reboot. Navigate to the file: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winkve32.dll and click on it once, and then click on the Open button.
You will now be asked if you would like to reboot your computer to delete the file. Click on the Yes button if you would like to reboot now.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

6) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winkve32.dll <<< delete file (should be gone)

C:\WINDOWS\system32\fastRX.dll <<< delete that file

C:\WINDOWS\system32\exaktyih.dll <<< delete that file

(if either file gives you trouble, use the Delete on Reboot tool again)

7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and post a new HJT log, let me know how the computer is running.

pskelley, the steps were followed and all the entries are deleted as instructed however I could not locate FastRx.dll in SYSTEM32 folder but I no longer have FastRX.dll error pop-up though. The only pop-up i have is the Ypager.exe error.

Thanks for the feedback, but you missed one you were supposed to remove?

We need to disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
Open Windows Defender, Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5ADF3862-9E2E-4ad3-86F7-4510E6550CD0} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ldmthcps.dll

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

The only pop-up i have is the Ypager.exe error.

I don't usually troubleshoot Yahoo issues (who I consider in bed with the enemy) but if you had given me the error message I may have been able to help. Since you did not, google the error (word for word) and see what google says. It has something to do with that item. You may need to reinstall, you may need to contact Yahoo?

Show me a last HJT log and let me know how you are running.

Oops! I missed that one. I've deleted it and ran Spybot S&D and received 'Congratulations no immediate threats were found"

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

If you want to run a good free trial to check for hidden junk, use this one with these instruction, delete or quarantine anything it finds and post the scan results if you have questions.

Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.
