Virtumonde and smitfraud and other various programs

Firstly, I have currently Spybot search and destroy, newest version, I have smitfraudfix, vundoFix, hijackthis, and Ad aware. Spybot and Ad-aware keep detecting a Virtumonde and a smitfraud. It says it deletes them, but comesback, or it says it can't get rid of em at all.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information. "BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

If you have not resolved your issues elsewhere, please do this:

1) Make sure Spybot is fully immunized as well as updated:
http://www.it.northwestern.edu/security/spyware/win-spybot-immunize.html

2) I would like to see the Vundofix report if you still have it.

3) C:\Program Files\WinPop\winpop.exe <<< did you install this program?
(do you know what this is?)
O24 - Desktop Component 0: (no name) - C:\Program Files\Online Services\progycawuy.html

4) C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007\aawservice.exe <<< this program may block changes we must make, turn it off until you are finished with HJT.

5) Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your NEXT reply.

6) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

7) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

8) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

9) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\Program Files\Web Buying\ <<< delete that folder

C:\Documents and Settings\DAD\Local Settings\Temp\ <<< delete the contents (not the folder)

C:\WINDOWS\system32\chsbhpek.dll<<< delete that file

(if that file gives you trouble use this tool and instructions)

10) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart and post and information I requested, the uninstall list, Vundofix report if available and a new HJT log.

3) I have no idea what winpop is. Is it known to be spyware?

I'd also like to add that when i deleted those items in Documents and settings/dad/local settings/temp When i restarted some files either came back or new files came back. Is this supposed to happen?

My suggestion would be that there should be no programs running your computer that you are not aware of.

When i restarted some files either came back or new files came back.I'll know more before we are done, but there are always a few files that stay in the TEMP folder from when the computer is new.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

Besides that I see no malware in the HJT log. I suggest you do this:
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

If you want to run a good free trial to check for hidden junk, use this one with these instruction, delete or quarantine anything it finds and post the scan results if you have questions.

Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.
