I'm sure this isn't the first time you guys have fixed someone with similar problems as mine, however, after three fuirtless days of scouring google, I've found that the solutions are as diverse as any, so my guess would be that this is a case-by-case type of problem. Although I'm not sure how I was infected, for the past week or so, I've noticed a dramatic slowdown in my computer. Checking the running processes, I found multiple cases of a IEXPLORE.EXE running, and apperantly using alot of power doing so. I figured this meant something was wrong with my computer, since I only use FireFox, and haven't touched Internet Explorer since I've first had this computer. The program came back instantly after I tried end the task, and none of my anti-virus, or anti-spyware software caught it. I'm hoping someone here can lend me a hand.

Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.
You have a Nasty infection called LOP/C2 Media, here is a little information about it and perhaps how you got it:

It can be a pain to remove, please read and follow the directions carefully.
1) Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
2) Thanks to skate_punk_21 and anyone else who helped with this fix.
Please download NoLop to the Desktop from this link:

Close any programs you have running since a reboot is required
Double click NoLop.exe to run it
Next, click the button labeled: Search and Destroy
<<your computer will now be scanned for infected files>>
When the scan finishes, if infected, you are prompted to reboot
Click OK
Now click: REBOOT
A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish.
Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a new HijackThis log. Include the uninstall list also.

Thanks for returning your information, I am looking at the Uninstall list first for malware or security problems. It is a good chance for you to look for stuff you no longer use.
Uninstall list:

1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.
2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune

Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.
3) Ad-Watch <<< will block changes we must make, turn it off until you are finished:
Ad-Aware Ad-Watch
Right click on the Ad-Watch icon in the system tray.
At the bottom of the screen there will be two checkable items called "Active" and "Automatic".
Active: This will turn Ad-Watch On\Off without closing it
Automatic: Suspicious activity will be blocked automatically
Uncheck both of those boxes.
4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
5) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\freepuremeowpoke\ <<< delete that folder
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS~1\Owner\APPLICATION DATA~1\BLUEMU~1\ <<< delete that folder
6) Follow the directions in this link to run AVG Anti-Spyware, make sure you delete or quarantine anything it finds and save the scan report to post.

7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
Restart and post the AVG Anti-Spyware scan results and a new HJT log. How is the computer running.

Appears you left one of the LOP lines that I posted for removal? Please remove it this time:
AVG Anti-Spyware: Deactivate the Resident Shield
- Before proceeding, deactivate the "Resident Shield" as this may prevent changes to the registry.
- To do this, click "Change State" to the right of the Resident Shield option in the main window.
- You will clearly see the status change to Inactive if you have done this correctly.
Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Tray Cash] C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\APPLIC~1\BLUEMU~1\cake vga.exe
Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS~1\Owner\APPLICATION DATA~1\BLUEMU~1\ <<< delete that folder (folder may have a longer name than that, but the first six letters will be the same and there is no good folder starting with that)
Run HJT and make sure it is gone, then move to these instructions.
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

Post a new HJT log and let me know of any malware issues.
AVG Anti-Spyware is a good program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.

I was sure I deleted the Bluemu folder, and I even went as far as to use Eraser to remove it. Maybe I messed up somewhere. Thanks alot, though. The IEXPLORE.EXE is all gone.
