Hi,
A few nights ago, while on the 'net, I got a msg come up suggesting I had a Downloader virus which the msg said it couldn't repair. I did a full scan using my Norton Antivirus 2002, but nothing came up. So do I have it, I ask myself?
However, I did see that when I was in Safe Mode, my Norton showed up an error against Email scanning which it doesn't show in Normal mode. Will this have been caused by the virus? If not, will what seems to be an error with Norton prevent the virus being found?
Sorry for my lack of knowledge - I am a definite novice with viruses. Norton has always protected me before!
