ssoftnt4.sys malware?

Hi

When I installed and then uninstalled a program called cryptainer le, the uninstaller warned me against removing the files- ssoftnt4.sys and cryptainersrv.exe in order to avoid operating system problems. However, some google sites have flagged up these files as dangerous. What is your advice and how can I safely remove them? I can copy the files and forward them to you for analysis if you wish. Thanks.
