Hello,

I recently went through the spybot forum for a problem i was having with my version, i then upgraded, but was unable to complete a scan after a 13 hour attempt. Clearly my spybot 1.4 is unable to perform its duties because of the bad guys in my system. I am on xp2, and have adaware, a squared, spybot, spyware doctor, trial version pc cillin. all of which either will not run/complete or are unable to detect my problems.

at each reboot this happens:

also, i have tried to startup in safe mode by pressing f8 during the boot, but after i select going into the system it still just starts up into windows. i have also noticed that my cpu is constantly jumping around, and when i try to run spybot it just stays at 100 percent. also, my browser seems to have some type of redirect thing going on. sorry if i am not being specific, i only know so much about all of this. here is a hijack log...any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

hi,

i have no idea what to make of this, but i seem to be losing memory of some sort?! i have been posting here about my ongoing infection, and one of the things i have been monitoring is my cpu. the windows task manager, under performance, has the section:

Physical Memory (K)
Total 753184
Available currently 247076, but it goes up and down constantly
System Cache 426744, fluctuating

The 'Available' area has dropped over 100000 since yesterday, which is when i first noticed that it seemed to be disappearing?! its fluctuation seems nearly in sync with the instability of my cpu. i have no idea what to make of this, or if it is anything at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I posted my logs and situation (without this new situation) yesterday Jan 7th 'bad guys are taking over...'

Hi Kevin

For now turn off Tea timer and Spyware Doctor

Please disable SpybotSD TeaTimer
You can enable it after you're clean.
To disable SpybotSD TeaTimer:
Open Spybot and click on Mode and check Advanced Mode
Check yes to next window.
Click on Tools in bottom left hand corner.
Click on Resident icon and Uncheck the box next to Teatimer.

Close SpyBot.

Use the pc for about two hours then post a fresh hijackthis log please
