hey,
alot of my friends use limewire (a program i dont trust at all), so ive been trying to find a clean alternative. ive come across a program im prity sure is safe.
frostwire

i beleive it may be safe as it has a sourceforge project page. sourceforge doesnt really have any unclean projects, plus, u can read all the projects source code. (gpl/ open-source)

anyways, anyone use it b4?

Hello.

Regarding P2P file sharing, see this topic: File Sharing, otherwise known as Peer To Peer. (P2P) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=282)

its not the file sharing app, its what you can download from the networks.
is it your e-mail client? no, its those files you click on and install.

ive used frostwire in linux, very similar to windows limewire, they are dozens of file sharing apps, find one that dosnt come with third party add ons or is ad supported. know what you are downloading and installing with any software p2p or otherwise. i have some filesharing info at my web site.

pretty sure frostwire in windows is ok, i can check it out for you .limewire also. (its not the app you have to trust.)

Thanks shelf life.

Also, in the link I provided, there is another link to Clean/Infected P2P Programs (http://p2p.malwareremoval.com/)

Frostwire is on the 'clean' list, which is being updated. Always a work in progress. ;)

Regards.
