Hi
I've a problem: when I type the URL of a site that is unavailable, I'm redirected to an unwanted site.
The same in google: if I click on a link, I'm redirected twice before being able to get access to the right site I'm looking for.
There was a similar post in november 2006, the security expert was Illukka (Google Redirect Virus + Pipas.A + more....), I believe my problem is very close...
Thanks for your help
Regards

Hello Eric, welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.
Posting additional comments or logs before a volunteer responds, can push you back instead of forward, because your thread ends up with a newer date. Also, helpers may think you are already being assisted because of the post count.
Glad I am to hear you were able to resolve your issues. Quoted above is likely the reason no helper reponded to you. I want to take a moment before we close your topic to make you aware those lines you removed are usually an indication of a wareout infection instituted by hackers in the Ukraine, see this: http://whois.domaintools.com/85.255.113.118
If you feel certain your issues are resolved, I'll close the topic in 24 hours, if you are receiving any symptoms of hidden malware at all, I would suggest you post a new HJT log describing the symptoms so we can take another look. You get to make that call.
Thanks...Phil
