Help With Pop-Ups

I'm definitely an amateur computer user, and I could really use some help clearing out some ad-ware / spyware on my PC. I have run smitfraud, and spybot, but neither has corrected the severe pop-up issues that I'm having with Internet Explorer. Can someone please help me?
