Have error message every time upon startup something like this: error loading program MWSBAR.DLL
Deleted mwsbar.dll stuff from computer, at least I think so, but still get the error message on desktop when starting up.
Sure is annoying!
Any great ideas on how to get rid of it for good?

I am sure you are aware of what it is. I routinely remove the junk during cleanup and wonder at times how it gets there. I have a notion something installs it without the owners knowledge, perhaps the eula for another program is not read?
What you should know about this one and any other program installed, they should always be removed in Add Remove programs using the uninstaller, deleting these programs leaves leftovers and the results are error messages like you are getting.
It may be as simple as removing the file but I can not say without seeing at least a HJT log. If you wish help with this, read and follow the directions which are also Pinned to the top of the forum and post at least a HJT log.

I suggest you return to the PM's (2) you send and edit out that email address, bots will spam you insane when they find that valid address.

Usually the reason this happens is because a program is "deleted" instead of being uninstalled in Add Remove programs.
Read about this one:

For your information, Viewpoint is installed by aol probably without your knowledge. I suggest you uninstall this resource waster in Add Remove programs.

The first thing you want to do is Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs and uninstall My Web Search Bar or My Web Search, uninstall any Viewpoint while there.
1) You are running HJT from a Temporary file and we will have no backups for safety if needed in an emergency. Move HJT here: C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe

2) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.
3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune

Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.
4) SpySweeper <<< do you own this program? Find the program in the following link and follow the directions to disable the program, it will block our HJT tool.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
6) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:
F:\PROGRAM FILES ~1\MYWEBSEARCH~1\ <<< delete that folder
7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
Restart the computer and post any information I requested and a new HJT log. Let me know if your problem has been taken care of.

My instructions were not followed concening moving HJT to a safe location, be warned that one day you may need a backup and not have it.
1) You are running HJT from a Temporary file and we will have no backups for safety if needed in an emergency. Move HJT here: C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe

I think the hjt program is ok now, it was just the log that I moved last time.

OK, thanks for that feedback, it may be one of your programs blocking the removal, let me look first at your uninstall list:
Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
(You may edit out Microsoft, Hotfixes, Security Update for Windows XP, Update for Windows XP and Windows XP Hotfix to shorten the list)

Thanks, looking at the uninstall list:
If you download games, especially Casino type games I see, these problems usually come along with them. Do you read the EULA before you install this stuff? My suggestion is to either purchase the game or play them online, and you have a load of them.
SmartShopper <<< here is your problem, uninstall it, and that navigate to here: F:\Program Files\SmartShopper\ <<< delete that folder if it is there.
Kaspersky Online Scanner <<< Follow these insructions:
Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner
You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.

I can't really say without more information, let's make sure Kaspersky is clean and then we will tackle this issue, don't let me forget. Often they game has to be reinstalled, at times the software is so poorly written, we shall see.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Removed some of the games earlier, one would not remove.
This was from the Add and Remove Program section in Control Panel
It is:
English Harbour Casino
The error message was:
'The Install Shield Wizard ( ikernel.exe ) could not be installed
No such Interface Supported'
How to remove?
Any great ideas on this?

Whoa...my wild guess about this: "No such Interface Supported" is Windows is telling you the junk does not work with the Windows uninstall Wizard, and that is only a guess.
Have your Windows CD handy and run System File Checker in case a corrupted or missing files is causing this:

You may also try installing it again and then trying to uninstall it in case the program itself is corrupted.
Look around some of these links to see if you can find uninstall information or contact information where you can ask about uninstall.

It has to be a program that is installed somewhere. You can also search until you find the files, possible in C:\Program Files\ and delete all of the junk manually.

It was kind of ironic using Kaspersky to help in this clutter/mess.
I have been using their 30 day free Internet Security version for a couple weeks now.
Have always used Norton/symantec, but heard it really slows puter down, that Kaspersky is much better.
Got rid of all the Norton stuff
Thinking about using Kaspersky after trial period ends,
What antivirus/internet security type stuff do you reccommend? Why?
