Error during scan

Hi,
I scanned today, yesterday and day before yesterday and am receiving the same error message.
Error during check!
Microsoft.Windows.Redirectedhosts(58)Cannot open File
"C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" The process cannot acess the file because it is being used by another process.
What is the best way to correct this error message?

Are you running any other anti-malware programs besides Spybot-S&D that may be blocking access to the HOSTS file?

ZoneAlarm, STOPzilla and possibly other programs can block access to the HOSTS.

I am running Spyeraser from digital river, could that be causing the message? come to think of it, it did start after I installed that. I also run McAfee Suite, but the message has never shown with that.
