View Full Version : Yet another Command Svc.
Hi guys. My friend's 10 year old has invited unwanted guests to his PC. I have never seen so much crap on one PC. I don't have a first log, but this is the latest one. Keeping the infected PC offline. I recommended to format it, but my friend can not find his win xp cd.
Spybot tried to clean the rest of it, but it ran into a snag.
Here HJD log:

Hi, welcome to Safer Networking Forums!
We need to temporarily disable Spybot's TeaTimer, it may stop our fix.
Disable Spybot's TeaTimer. This is a two step process.
First:
- Right click Spybot in the System Tray (looks like a calendar with a padlock symbol)
- Choose Exit Spybot S&D Resident
Second:
- Open Spybot S&D
- Click Mode, check Advanced Mode
- Go To Left Panel, Click Tools, then also in left panel, click Resident
- If your firewall raises a question, say OK
- Uncheck the box labeled Resident Tea-Timer and OK any prompts.
- Use File, Exit to terminate Spybot
- Reboot your machine for the changes to take effect.
__________
Download combofix.exe (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/Beta/ComboFix.exe)
1. Save it to your desktop.
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
Thanx Angelfire777.

Hi,
Your logs look ok except for some leftovers..
Can you tell me in what manner is it slow?
Open HijackThis > choose Scan Only > Place a checkmark in the boxes beside these entries in bold.
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {653345DE-801F-A3CA-121A-828DBD23D0C3} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
Close your browsers and all open windows except for HijackThis, then click "Fix checked". Exit HijackThis.
I stil have not done the last thing you told me, but PC is running great now. :bigthumb:
