I uninstalled 1.3, installed 1.4, checked for updates (it found none), and tried to search for problems. I get an error message saying I first need to install the detected updates. But again when I look for updates, none are found. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?
ETA I didn't run it for the first time under the admin account, which is what I had used to install it. I went back and did that and now it seems to work under the limited account. Hopefully this message will help someone in the future...
