View Full Version : Please, please help: Virtumonde and TagAsaurus
Despite spybot, those two (virtumonde and tagasaurus) won't go away! And even worse...I'm computer clueless! I'm seeing things in other virtumonde posts like hjt and hijackthis and other things and I don't know what that is! Please, please somebody help me?

Download and install Trendmicros Hijackthis (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/HJTInstall.exe) to your desktop
Doubleclick on the install icon to start the installation, follow all the defaults and it will install in C:\Program Files\Trendmicro\Hijackthis.
Open HJT Scan and Save a Log File, it will open in Notepad
Go to Format and make sure Wordwrap is Unchecked
Go to Edit> Select All.....Edit > Copy and Paste the new log into this thread by using the Post Reply and not start a New Thread.
DO NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
