I've been having a lot of trouble with my computer lately, it seems due to this Command Service it appears everyone else has as well. After trying to have a friend fix my computer, which didn't work, I don't want to call my computer guy from San Francisco, so I thought it best to pose the question online. If someone could help me out, I would very much appreciate it. Below is a copy of the logfile I just ran.

spysweeper is the only program that I know of that will remove all traces of cmdService
You have a VX2 infection, A vundo trojan & other assorted trojans\malware...
Ctrl-Alt-Del .. on the processes Tab ... under CPU what is the number for Winlogon
To remove the Vundo trojan please do this :-
Go here and run the vundofix :-
save the vundofix logs to post in your next post

The filepath entered should be C:\WINDOWS\system32\vtsqp.dll
The second filepath entered should be C:\WINDOWS\system32\pqstv.*

Download http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe by ShadowWar.
1. Save the file to your desktop
2. Double click l2mfix.exe
3. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts
4. Open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop
5. Double click l2mfix.bat
6. Select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter
7. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log.
8. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

To continue with the VX2 removal....
Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.
1. From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat
2. Select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter
3. Press any key to reboot your computer.
4. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log.
5. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

The L2Mfix didn't work... did you get any error message, did it mention C:\\Windows\system32\autoexec.nt
Whatever vundo fix you tried didn't work either... try my link again, it's working now.

The link for the vundofix was not the issue. I found the website (I noticed an extra 2 where one should not have been). I downloaded everything okay, and used the file paths specified, but I couldn't get it to work. It told me that it could not access the file because it was in use by another process, and told me to open Hijackthis and fix all items I was told to.
As for the error message during the L2Mfix, all it indicated was that it could not find the file.

As I said, you still have the vundo trojan, by your description, it sounds as though you didn't run the vundofix in safemode... it must be run in safemode or the files will be in use. quote: "it could not access the file because it was in use by another process"
Re the VX2 removal....

could not find the file was I suppose was this ... 16 bit ms-dos subsytem. c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe. c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications
