Spyware

I've downloaded Spybot once Spyware found itself on my laptop and searched and destroyed it. After restarting, the pop ups had ended and reappear only sometimes, the toolbar had disappeared. The only thing that remained is the spyware icon in taskbar that continues to pop up with new "warnings" about how spyware is on my laptop.
I continue to use spybot but the icon is never truly removed. I've immunized, as well.
