Updating the help take some more time than expected since I really did not like the FAQ on our website at all (and the FAQ is included in the help file), but finally, there's something that can be called Release Candidate. Get it from the usual beta page (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsdbeta) :)

Changes can be found in the Project Manager (http://forums.spybot.info/project.php?projectid=1) as usual; plus the updated main help file (should be in standard updates next Wednesday as well!) and a merge of TeaTimer and main help file.

Thanks for all the hard work on 1.5 Final

Although I am also extending my thanks for the work SB does, I would like to report here that I can not locate the secure shredder in the 1.5 final version I down loaded and had to get back to the 1.4 version... Will someone please inform me where to find the secure shredder in the 1.5 version I have looked all over the advance mode but could not find any trace of the shredder!!! Please help.. thanks

Hellow everyone! Nwoob on the block here. I just would like some help regarding the secure shredder on the sbsd 1.5 final. Try as I might on the advance tools mode I can not locate the shredder and thus had to download a 1.4 varsion to recover the shredder. Hope you can help me with this thank you.

The Secure Shredder was taken out of Spybot-S&D 1.5.

Yes, we usually recommend Eraser (http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/) as a free stand-alone shredder utility, which is quite nice and much more up-to-date than the integrated one was.

To still allow a very final removal of malware and usage tracks through Spybot-S&D, we have
this (http://forums.spybot.info/project.php?issueid=28) beta update that automatically uses an installation of the above shredder when removing files (update: on hold right now due to license issues).
