i have two partitions on my harddisk c: and d: but i also have diffrent operating systems on each drive and spybot is installed in c: drive. should i install spybot on d: drive also because there is an other operating system in that drive. or will spybot scan d: drive also?

dj.turkmaster:

One way to do it:
Using Windows Explorer, navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy
Right click on SpybotSD.exe and select "Copy".
Go to your Desktop. Right click on the Desktop and select "Paste Shortcut". You should now have "Shortcut to SpybotSD" on your Desktop.
Right click on the "Shortcut to SpybotSD" and select "Properties".
The Target should read as follows:
"C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe"
Change the Target by adding the "/allhives"so that the Target looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe" /allhives
Click the "Apply" button followed by the "OK" button.
Double click on the "Shortcut to SpybotSD" Shortcut to run Spybot-S&D.
Another way to run Spybot with the "/allhives" parameter:
Go to Start > Run. In the Open block type:
"C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe" /allhives
Then click "OK".
Note: this will add a run command so that for subsequent runs you should not have to retype the command, just go into Start > Run find the command and click "OK".
