I seem to have the win antivirus pop up problem that others have posted about. I have tried running both kaspersky and f-secure but computer keeps freezing and popups are coming up everywhere. I was able to run highjack this. below are the results. thank you in advance.

"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.
1) Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
(You may edit out Microsoft, Hotfixes, Security Update for Windows XP, Update for Windows XP and Windows XP Hotfix to shorten the list)
2) Download ComboFix from Here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) or Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop.
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log
in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

I apologize, this is a lot to do, DO NOT rush yourself, work carefully and at your pace.
Instructions start here, do them in the numbered order.
1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.
2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune

Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.
3) CounterSpy <<< disable this program until you finish, it may block our tools.
To disable CounterSpy:
Right Click on the CounterSpy Icon located in your system tray.
With your mouse, hover over Active Protection Status (This should be enabled)
A menu will slide out, then right click on Disable Active Protection
Once your log is clean please re-enable CounterSpy.
4) How to use the Delete on Reboot tool

Start Hijackthis
Click on the Config button
Click on the Misc Tools button
Click on the button labeled Delete a file on reboot...
A new window will open asking you to select the file that you would like to delete on reboot. Navigate to the file: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ASWLNDLL.dll and click on it once, and then click on the Open button.
You will now be asked if you would like to reboot your computer to delete the file. Click on the Yes button if you would like to reboot now.
5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
6) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:
(some of this stuff may be gone, just do not miss any)
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\M?crosoft.NET\ <<< delete that folder
C:\PROGRAM FILES~1\COMMON FILES~1\imfz\ <<< delete that folder
If you have [B]Vundofix still on your computer, delete it.
C:\VundoFix Backups <<< delete that folder
This infection has created a lot of tasks we want to delete. You can see them all in the end of the combofix log.
C:\WINDOWS\Tasks\At1.job <<< delete all numbered tasks like this in RED in the Tasks folder (NOT THE FOLDER)
7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
Restart the computer and post a new HJT log and tell me how the computer is running.

In answer to your question about McAfee- I had purchased and downloaded the online version a while (a few months) back but for some reason it wouldnt run and i kept getting the blue screen of death. So I stopped trying to run it. Any suggestions on others? I guess I could try running it again now. Below is the new Hijack this log.

I would suggest, since you paid for the program, you contact McAfee for instructions. They will probably have you reinstall. Make them give you a toll free number where you can get help. You may have to insist to get one. http://ts.mcafeehelp.com/default.asp?siteID=1&cnrcheck=done&resolution=1024x768 Here is one I got out of then: 866-736-3971. It may not still be good and you might have to ask that they transfer you to the correct department.
I can post links to good freeware products, but can't help much with McAfee.

Running twice but there is probably only one of them. Do you know what the file is? Google returns nothing, you can use one or more of these scanners to find out:

http://www.virustotal.com/
Then navigate to that file and delete it. If it gives you trouble use the "Delete on Reboot tool on it. Once it is gone, then I would like you to scan again with combofix and post a new combofix log.
Your HJT log looks good besides that, I would like to do a little more looking to be sure.

Thanks for returning your information, I would like to run more more good scan to look for anything hidden. First we need to remove combofix, especially the C:\Qoofix\quarantine\ from your computer. The scan will see the infections combofix quarantined.
Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner
You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

Thank you for all your help.
I deleted that first file, but when I try to delete C:\Program Files\Canon\Memory Card Utility\iP6700D\PDUiP6700DMon.exe, I get a box with a red "X" that reads: can not delete PDUiP6700. Access is denied. Make sure disk is not full or write protected and file is not in use.
Any ideas? Thanks

First, if Kaspersky says it is infected, good chance it is:
PDUiP6700DMon.exe if you want to scan the file first, here are three free online scanners:

Once you are sure you want it gone, then you can boot to Safe Mode when it will not be running to delete it:
