i dont see any malware in the log, and you have av, windows defender and spysweeper.

Thanks for the reply, just curious though when i open a task manager I have 2 crss.exe's going at the same time.

Also whenever I Run a HiJackThis it gives me an error message saying that something denied access to Host files.

Should I be worried?

you sure its not cSrss.exe, which is a legit windows OS .exe
is your antivirus up to date? crss.exe could be malware in some form.


saying that something denied access to Host filesyour version of hjt is unable to read the host file in vista, nothing to worry about.

you can do a online scan here:
not 100% sure it works with vista.if it dosnt we can find another one.

Scan Archives
Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
Select My Computer
* The program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
o Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.
* Copy and paste that information in your next post.

this dosnt remove anything, just produces a log.
