View Full Version : the usual removal-proof malware
Hello,
Got a new removal-proof malware.
If I'm here is because I already attempted to get rid of it with conventional systems but unsuccessfully.
Seems that common antivirus and antispyware software are completely uneffective against the malware I come across!!!
The malware I'm actually dealing with is something that generates a real avalanche of advertising web pages that come up while surfing my preferred web sites.
Here is what I done till now:
1) I done a scan with hijackthis:
Found only this suspected entry:
O20 - AppInit_DLLs: C:\WINDOWS\system32\__c00D4EAF.dat
Not possible to fix it.Not possible to rename or delete it.
2) I done a scan with Spybot:
some malware found; all fixed; system immunized.
3) I done a scan with Fixwareout: no messages.
4) I done a deep scan with Avast antivirus:
some viruses found; all fixed.
5) deleted system cache.
6) blocked cookies in browser settings.
7) blacklisted some suspected domains.
All that was like if I done NOTHING!!!
Please, rescue me...
Thanks in advance
