Greetings all,

I recently came into some troublesome trojan virus', and installed both adaware and spybot. Now, when I use spybot, it finds one or so of the following:

Microsoft.windows.redirected hosts
(SBI $2CF31C11 redirected host)

The address below it is always www.symantec.com followed by my IP address.

After Finding the virus, spyware deletes it, but as soon as I rescan, it's there again!

I tried using HostsXpert on the advice of a friend, but it would not work at all. My hijackthis log is as follows:

Thanks in advance

Hi shinra_elite

1. Download combofix from one of these links:
Link1 (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
Link2 (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.

Post:

- a fresh HijackThis log
- combofix report
- smitfraudfix report
