Yahoo Tool Bar

Hi,

I recently downloaded Yahoo Messenger and it took over my internet homepage with Firefox. I changed it back to google but I still have the Yahoo menu bar on top of my screen whenever I am online. How can I get rid of this? All I want is to use messenger to chat with a family member in Germany, I don't want any other features.
