Hello darren_1

Welcome to Safer Networking.
Please read Before You Post (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

You do have some issues going on that we need to fix.

You need to enable windows to show all files and folders, instructions Here (http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html)

Open HijackThis > Do a System Scan Only, close your browser and all open windows, the only program or window you should have open is HijackThis, check the following entries and click on Fix Checked.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {6DD9F60E-A01D-43AC-952E-2F3FA2DB340f} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nqihoshb.dll (file missing)

Download ComboFix from Here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) or Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop.

Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post the Combofix log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Go here and delete the Vundofix, we need to download the new version to your desktop
C:\DOCUME~1\paul\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\YRS3U1WV\VundoFix[1].exe

Download VundoFix (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4 ) to your desktop

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

Please download SmitfraudFix (http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Do this before you post a new HJT log
THIS IS IMPORTANT
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe<-- Right click on Hijackthis.exe ( looks like a man with a spyglass ) and rename it to Scanner.exe

This is a bit to do, I suggest you print it out so you can follow along.

I need to see the Combo log, Vundo log, Smitfraud log and a new HJT log please

Your doing just fine :bigthumb: You had a number of infections on this system, a few more to go. One of the infections you have is the SDbot worm.

Go to your Add Remove programs in the Control Panel and see if this will uninstall, its malware.
C:\Program Files\Performanceoptimizer (Free)

Remove this entry with HJT.

This needs to be run from Safemode to be effective.

Download SDFix (http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe) and save it to your Desktop.

Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
Choose your usual account.

Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log

Your Java is out of date and leaving your system vulnerable.
Go to your Add-Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall any previous versions of Java (J2SE Runtime Environment)
It should have an icon next to it:
http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiemoes/images/javaicon.jpg
Select it and click Remove.
Reboot your system.
Then go to the Sun Microsystems (http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp) and install the update
Java Runtime Environment Version 6 Update 2 <--This is what you need to download and install.
If you chose the online installation, it will prompt you to run the program.
If you chose the offline installation, you will be prompted to save the file and you can run it from wherever you saved it.
Then after install you can verify your installation here Sun Java Verify (http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp)
I like to to do the offline installation and save the setup file in case I may need it in the future

I need you to do this, its important
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe<-- Right click on Hijackthis.exe ( looks like a man with a spyglass ) and rename it to Scanner.exe

Your log is looking fine :bigthumb:

FYI ---> the reason I have asked you a few times to rename HJT is because the thieves that have written the Vundo trojan have written it to evade a HJT scan and by renaming it to something else, if Vundo is still present on your system it will show up on your HJT log. VUNDO IS NASTY and I wouldn't want any part of it on my system, not even one left over file, so I suggest you rename it like I posted and post a new HJT log and lets make sure its 100% gone.

1. Click on My Computer
2. Click on your C:\ drive
3. Click on Program Files to open the folder
4. Click on Trendmico to open the folder
5. Click on Hijackthis to open the folder
6. Right click on the Hijackthis icon ( looks like a man with a spyglass)
7. A menu will open
8. Click on Rename and type in Scanner.exe <-- Dont forget the .exe
