Anti virgear

I installed that active x thing that gives you antivirgear. Searchbot told me it removed the program but the flashing pop up in the toolbar remains. I would much appreciate it if someone could tell me step by step how to remove it from my taskbar/toolbar. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
